#48768 Investigate numa impact on system performance.
Closed: wontfix by spichugi. Opened by firstyear.

Due to the way that modern systems are built with numa, there are potentially issues and gains to be made in the performance of DS in relation to this.

  • Be able to profile and determine impact of numa on a system with multiple regions.
  • Determine potential ways to improve performance on systems with multiple numa regions.

This will likely take some weeks to analyse and conduct, but future re-review would be easier due to developed tooling and documentation.
