JShelter Version: 0.11.2

OS: Windows 11
Browser: Microsoft Edge 111.0.1661.54
Other extensions that might affect JShelter behaviour: no

How to reproduce

  1. set a custom setting and save it
  2. exit browser
  3. open browser ( on my end this always happend , but if you can't reproduce it make sure browser close not stay at background on task manager or wait a second or minute and open browser again) *this like me before exit -> open sometime setting reset sometime setting stay at custom

Expected result

JShelter after exit browser not reset to recommend setting

Actual result

JShelter reset to recommend setting

Nope still not found what the main problem

I will treat this one as duplicate of #102.

Unfortunatelly, the reproduction step do not state what the custom settings in step 1 and 3 is.

I tried:

  • Changing default level to a different built-in. The change was permanent.
  • Adding a custom level. The change was permanent.
  • Changing the default level to the custom level. The change was reverted.

I confirmed the problem in Firefox and Chromium.

I will close this issue as a duplicate of #102 but please feel free to post additional information regarding the nature of custom setting that is not permanently saved.
