Hi all,

I would like to ask for funds for this event:

The 11th Annual Southern California Linux Expo will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 22-24, 2013, at The Hilton Los Angeles Airport. You can read more on the fedora wiki: [url]http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SCALE_11X_Event[/url] .

Fedora is having a Fedora Booth over there, and I will volunteer on it. Also there will be a Fedora Activity Day. I'll be taking a Raspberry PI running Fedora, and will be the "Se habla español" guy (like aacosta said :P )

The expenses I'm asking for funds are:

-Train (both ways): ~$80 USD.
-Hotel (3 nights): SCALE has negotiated a special conference room rate with the Hilton. Rooms are available at $112.00/night plus tax. So that would be around ~$350 USD. (Note: This is the hotel where the event is taking place at, and most of the FAMNA Ambassadors (if not all) are staying there. But if you think this is too much, I can look for other options around).
-If there are any Fedora LATAM shirts, I would like one to promote the participation of Fedora LATAM on that event.

TOTAL: ~$430 USD.

FAMNA just informed that the hotel room with taxes and everything is $130 the night. So * 3 = 390.
So total would be ~$470 USD.

I came back from SCALE. It was an amazing event, and I got to meet many other fedora ambassadors (:
Anyways, it was much cheaper than expected. At the end I didn't took a train, but a friend gave me a ride there. Also, I split the room with a friend, so I just had to paid for half the price of the room.
I attached the room ticket. So the refund price is $194 USD.
