FB wanted to upgrade this internally to 3.4 for a while, but was waiting for https://git.centos.org/rpms/initscripts/pull-request/1 which was resolved long ago. Might as well do it properly in the SIG now.

grep builds as is with a minor change, filed https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/grep/pull-request/3 to get this fixed on the Fedora side as it seems pointless to carry it here.

Checked with Jim Meyering (grep upstream) and he recommends going with 3.6 directly, so we'll do that.
