#2342 RFE: upload sucessfull builds to a package hosting service.
Closed: MIGRATED 2 years ago by nikromen. Opened 2 years ago by msuchy.

From fedora-devel mailing list:

A "freemium" COPR service?

I suspect that that would be such a
niche service that the cost per user
(to pay for the overheads to create
and maintain it) would not be
acceptable to anyone.

Considering services like packagecloud.io and others exist and do
manage to make money storing repositories and builds, I think it's
pretty workable for COPR too. It would require some advertising and
such to get it out there, but it'd be workable.

This was in a thread discussing our retention policy. It may be solved by a feature on our side, which would upload successful builds to some existing storage providers. Which would be paid for by the user. And user will decide what and when would be deleted.

Please add your comment here if you would actually use such a feature. And what storage provider you used.
