Sadly, injecting arbitary python code is something that is kind of hard to create a logo for ;)

As for some inspiration, I think chipx86's gtkparasite project has kind of a neat parasite dude. http://chipx86.github.com/gtkparasite/

I think it could be cool to have a Python with some sort of parasite on it's head or in it's brain. I'm open to ideas :)

I'll try to post something hopefully along the lines of what you're looking for within a week; I might post something here tomorrow.

Here's a very basic pixel art attempt. I'm happy to do a completely different design if you'd like (i.e. one that isn't pixel art)

I'm wondering if it would be possible to make a more horizontal version, similar to the dimensions of a trac project banner.

I'm so sorry for taking much longer than I said I would! I haven't forgotten about this, and I'll post tomorrow again updating you about my progress.

Progress: I'm making a much more detailed pixel art python, horizontal as you requested. I'm trying to make sure that scales come out nicely on it. I'll keep at it for the remainder of the week in my spare time.

I've uploaded a new version. Again I'm sorry for the wait. My first child was born last month, and between parenting and work, I've been swamped. Please let me know if you'd like me to make any changes to the logo.
