SVG of my ideas attached. I think the ying yang symbol would look better rotated 30-45 degrees counter-clockwise. But I like the heart logo better.

Logo from ticket #434 Python-trifold-logo.png
I like the Python-trifold-logo.png with 2 snakes forming the heart, could be 2 colors on white or three colors. This is from ticket #434,
think that i'll give this a shot!
Ok, so I made two very different looking designs (both incorporating the logos above) for you to take a look at, and give feedback on. Concept 1 would need to use another color layer (because of the black) but Concept 2 only uses the colors you mentioned in the ticket Concept 1: [[Image(fedora loves python shirt_ attempt 1.png)]] Concept 2: [[Image(fedora loves python shirt_attempt 2.png)]]

Hey Jeff! Sorry for the miscommunication here - I didn't have a chance to triage this ticket, and I don't think you guys knew about the PyCon design we did - it's here:
https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/431
It's a pre-approved design and we used it along with the trifold brochures to promote Python/Fedora at Pycon. Would that t-shirt design suit your needs? The print-ready files are here:
For white t-shirts: https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/attachment/ticket/431/fedora-python-shirt_no-white-areas.pdf
For non-white / color t-shirts: https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/attachment/ticket/431/fedora-python-shirt_white-areas.pdf
Let us know!
Thanks for the designs from ticket #431 (same design used in ticket #434). I will use those. You may close this ticket.
Can you recommend a shirt printer for about 10 tee-shirts of various sizes?
So 10 shirts is a small run. I'd recommend direct to garment printing, use this file: https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/attachment/ticket/431/fedora-python-shirt_no-white-areas.pdf and us a white or light grey shirt. It runs about $10-16 a shirt depending on where you go. I'd advise looking some place local to the conference and picking up when you get there to save on shipping if possible.
Unfortunately I don't know vendors in Seattle, but here are a few that do direct to garment printing that might be worth calling:
http://www.nwcustomapparel.net/ Looks like it's $40 setup plus $16/shirt, looking at around $200 no shipping
http://www.embroidme-bellevue.com/garment_printing/ I've used this franchise in the Boston area, cost about $12/shirt, no set up fees. Don't know how much these guys will cost tho.
http://www.lambandlionink.com/ 10 shirts for $160, no setup
Ok I'm closing this ticket now. jsandys, if you need any other assistance please to hesitate to reach out.
