#550 Review request: Fedora Red Team SIG data sheet
Closed: Fixed 7 years ago Opened 7 years ago by jasoncallaway.

Please review this document to confirm that it adheres to Fedora Project logo and trademark usage guidelines. Also, please send vector graphics for the Fedora logo, I had to image trace the raster image; it looks ok, but could be better.

  • Deadline: 20 October 2017 for next Red Hat customer meeting who may be interested in contributing to this upstream project
  • Document: https://jasoncallaway.fedorapeople.org/frt_datasheet.pdf, can send .indd file if needed.
  • Printer contact information: we'll use a local one
  • Is this for an event? Yes, I threw this together last minute for BSidesDC after reviewing the logo usage page. But I'd like to go back now and be sure that it's approved for future use.
  • Location, date, and website/wiki page for the event: The intent is to use this for infosec events and meetings, so it'll be ongoing.
  • Is this in a language other than English? No
  • Size requirements: US Letter
  • Apparel or product type: For printed data sheet style handouts
  • Number of colors to use: Full color
  • Background color of the object: White, glossy paper
  • Print or embroidery: Printed on paper
  • Print area size: US Letter
  • Templates (if provided by printer): N/A

Hi @jasoncallaway , I have a couple of suggestions on the PDF that you posted

Like you mentioned, the logos are a tad bit off because of the vector-trace (so I'm attaching the svgs of the different variations of the logo that you used in the document there)
Greyscale logomark
fedora_infinity_grayscale.svg
Full-color horizontal logo
fedora_logo.svg
I'm not completely sure what the correct application of the main title should be. I know that Montserrat is typically used for headlines, but since the headline is for a particular Fedora group that has its own logo, it might make sense to use that particular logo in the heading instead of the large horizontal logo in addition to the heading text that you have. Here's that particular logo in SVG
fedora-red3.svg
While the background image in the heading looks awesome I wonder it makes the data sheet come off as less up-to-date than it really is since that was the F25 background. Maybe this is a non-isssue, but just a thought!
