'''Size requirements, can be standard paper size or width and height'''
imprint area (H x W x Wrap): 2 x 3 x 9 all units in inches.
Ideally one color print. Background color is white. Extra colors add cost, so let me know if we absolutely need two colors. My recollection is that we probably need two blues.
White
Print
None. I have asked for color values of the interior blues to select one (see above). Print will be in our color choice.
Can I get an estimated time for art to advise our vendor of?
the stated deadline in ticket is wed.
@duffy cool. I didn't want to confirm that we would hit that date without checking with Design first. thanks.
@duffy any update here? The vendor is anxious to get into production. Thank you.
COB on the east coast is in 7 hours, and I'm working on a higher priority project. This will be ready in 7 hours.
@duffy thank you for the update.
I never heard back from you on the interior blue colors. they might clash with the fedora logo color. I don't know what values they are. Can you ask the vendor to check their interior blues against our logo blues, and if they aren't close to just go with the black? here are previews to show what it'd look like / to show placement for each color (in order of preference, given the color doesn't clash) -
sky blue

Thank you. I'll get this sent to the vendor.
@duffy the vendor would like the art as .eps or .ai. Is this possible?
ai is not possible, it stands for Adobe Illustrator and we dont use that.
im currently on a long distance train wo access to what i need to convert to eps. i am assuming the vendor, if they can open ai, has a copy of illustrator and can convert to eps themselves?
OK.
I'll ask. I don't know their systems or capabilities.
@duffy I am not sure of the exact reasons, but the vendor is still requesting that we make the conversion to eps. This conversion is outside of my skill set or I would do it. As you are traveling, is there any other member of the team who can do this?
@bex the version of scribus in f27 has broken EPS support, I have a development build from 1.5.x I've been trying to work with but it seems the EPS support while it works no longer supports CMYK.
this is an EPS, but it is not CMYK. Can you confirm with the vendor they can use our CMYK values with this file?
Fedora Blue 100/46/0/0 Fedora Dark Blue 100/57/0/38
EPS is an awful format, poorly supported by libre tools, and we generally do not work with vendors that require it. :(

thank you @duffy. I'll contact the vendor.
let me know how it goes. i even tried gs and no luck. dont know if this is a regression in fedora or what.
FWIW! I did some more research and discovered that identify may be incorrectly misidentifying the colorspace of the file as rgb when it is in fact CMYK (you can open it up in a text editor and see the CMYK codes) - so the file may just work 🤞🤞🤞
This jives with the email I got back from the vendor saying the eps worked for them. We'll know more when we see the proof.

@duffy the proof is below.

@duffy - other than potentially cost - any reason not to do this on the front and the back?
@bex that looks great, i say go w it
from a design pov mugs w double prints dont look good, its kind of tacky. i have a bunch of rht ones and none are double printed.
@duffy cool and I won't double the design.
Thank you.
Cool, closing this one out, hope they come out great!
