Transition to using the asahi-fedora-remix-release packages.
Our packages provide the fedora-release-* package names, so we don't want to explicitly use the asahi-fedora-remix-release-* package names in order to remain compatible with the upstream Fedora collection too.
fedora-release-*
asahi-fedora-remix-release-*
It was meant to resolve this issue. So these packages are meant to be compatible? Ok then maybe the asahi-fedora-remix-release version needs to be bumped up to 38-0.8
[ ERROR ]: 18:19:06 | KiwiInstallPhaseFailed: System package installation failed: Error: Problem: problem with installed package asahi-fedora-remix-release-38-0.1.noarch - package asahi-fedora-remix-release-38-0.1.noarch conflicts with fedora-release provided by fedora-release-38-0.8.noarch - conflicting requests
Hmm, we should have priorities set so that ours always overshadows theirs.
Huh, we have the priority set, so it should overshadow it. I guess we just need to bump the release. It's probably time to rebase the package anyway, so I'll take a crack at that.
Sounds good. I'm working on porting over a working mkosi implementation.

I've rebased the release package. But it also should Obsolete+Provide the fedora names with an Epoch bump, courtesy of @dcavalca: https://pagure.io/fedora-asahi/asahi-fedora-remix-release/c/b3ee5239ea6dbff119dc17e448be9cf395450a73
