Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"): You attended the Fedora Mentor Summit 2025!
Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this badge is awarded for certain kinds of activities:
1) What are those activities? Attending: - Mentor–Mentee Lunch Matching (FMS/Flock): https://cfp.fedoraproject.org/flock-to-fedora-2025/talk/YWCEJ9/ - Sticker Match Social Networking (FMS/Flock): https://cfp.fedoraproject.org/flock-to-fedora-2025/talk/9YGBQS/
2) Who is doing them (are they packagers? translators? newcomers? veterans? users? sponsors?) - attendees
3) Why are they doing them (is this a means to a different end?) - To participate in the FMS
4) When do they do them (every day? once a year?) - once a year
5) How do they do them (by talking in IRC? by running commands in the console? by using a web interface?) - in person event
Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts? - from last year: https://pagure.io/fedora-badges/issue/934
thanks a lot @nekonya3 :tada:
@smeragoel or @riecatnor can you please approve it?
I think the badge is fine, except for the white background. I believe that should be transparent like the previous badge.
@nekonya3 could you update the background?

Hey,
Can you explain what white part is mentioned in your comment? I think the white background is a necessary part:
Background might be the wrong term from the badge anatomy's point of view. I'm not a designer, but I have encountered the term canvas in the past as well. I'm referring to the part outside the badge's outer ring. The square part that defines the dimension of the badge.
Compare the images when viewed by itself (assuming this is displayed in an otherwise empty black window in your browser):
Release Party vs. Mentor Summit
If that doesn't make it clear, try downloading the images and open them locally (e.g. xdg-open file.png). A transparent background will show as a checkered pattern, which will assume the color of the background on which it is displayed.
I see you already figured it out. The second version has it fixed. I'll use that for the badge.
Badge has been pushed:

I authorized @jonatoni and @jflory7. Let me know if other people need authorization.

@guity btw I don't seem to have rights to award the badge
also I can't see the image when I click https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/fedora-mentor-summit-2025
I guess it helps if I actually push my changes.
Not sure what I was doing. Anyway, the image should appear shortly now that I've pushed my commit. Authorizations are also in place now. My apologies for the sloppy work.
You are amazing, thanks so much for fixing it so fast :tada:
