#968 TXLF 2025
Closed: pushed by zlopez. Opened by carlwgeorge.

Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"):

  • You visited the Fedora booth at TXLF 2025!

Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this badge is
awarded for certain kinds of activities:

1) What are those activities?

2) Who is doing them?

  • Attendees to the conference.

3) Why are they doing them?

  • Anyone at our booth can scan the QR code linked to the badge awarding website.
  • As a backup to the QR code, please configure the badge so that myself (@carlwgeorge) and Amy Marrich (@spotz) can manually award the badge.

4) When do they do them?

  • This badge should be specific to the 2025 event and be active for the time period from October 2nd to October 5th.

5) How do they do them?

  • By visiting our booth. It also raises awareness to newcomers of the popularity of Fedora Badges, and incentivizes them to create their Fedora account if they don't have one yet.

Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?

@gui1ty or @t0xic0der could either of you have a look at this & hopefully push for Carl?

I added the badge https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/txlf-2025 and gave @carlwgeorge and @spotz award privileges.

@carlwgeorge You should have the QR code on your profile according to https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/badges/push-badges/#_create_an_invitation
