#972 "I Voted" badges for F43-F47 (x5 badges)
Closed: pushed by t0xic0der. Opened by jflory7.

Badge description

  • Title: I Voted: Fedora 4x
  • Description: Participated in the Fedora 4x Elections!

How is this badge earned?

This badge is earned whenever someone finishes voting in at least one Fedora election for each release. A link to claim the badge is presented in the elections.fedoraproject.org app after successfully submitting votes for a given election.

Also, this ticket extends #853. See that ticket for past examples. Like that previous ticket, I am requesting election badges for the next five Fedora releases, which will cover us for 2.5 years or so.

Who gets this badge?

Anyone who successfully submits a vote for a Fedora election.

Why do they get this badge?

To incentivize voting in the elections and participating in the democratic processes that shape the leadership bodies of the Fedora Project.

When do they get this badge?

Once per release cycle (i.e. approximately every six months).

How do they claim the badge?

Clicking a link from the elections.fedoraproject.org app after voting.

Any artwork concepts?

See #853. Let's keep things simple and reuse the existing artwork, with only changing the numbers for each badge.

@t0xic0der @jflory7 @chris hey, something is off.. the badge is showing under the "Uncategorized Badges" section. As an example look at the bottom of Justin's badges https://badges.fedoraproject.org/user/jflory7

The tags/categories for these badges had spaces between them. That should not have been a problem, given that those for i-voted:-fedora-29, i-voted:-fedora-30 and i-voted:-fedora-31 also have spaces between them and they seem to be working just fine. Anyway, I have gone ahead with removing the spaces here too, and that did the trick.

@ffmancera, please open a new ticket from the next time onwards for such issues. That gets attention relatively quicker than commenting under a closed one.

Oh sure thing. Thank you very much for fixing it. Next time I will open a new ticket!
