#258 Zuul tries to build ...-%{autorelease}.src.rpm
Closed by churchyard. Opened by churchyard.

Hello. Recently, the rpmautospec-rpm-macros package was added as a requirement to redhat-rpm-config. This was done in:

  • redhat-rpm-config-176-1.fc33 (still in updates-testing)
  • redhat-rpm-config-183-1.fc34
  • redhat-rpm-config-187-1.fc35
  • redhat-rpm-config-187-1.eln112

Without the rpmautospec-rpm-macros package, any PR that attempt to migrate to %{autorelease} will fail to scratch build in Zuul, as it will try to build a SRPM with literal %{autorelease} in the release (and it is not a valid release value).

See e.g. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-rpm-generators/pull-request/42

Could you please either install rpmautospec-rpm-macros or update redhat-rpm-config on the nodes that crate SRPMs and build them in Koji? Thanks

This has been fixed since, unlike the Jenkins one.
