#47 Container CI pipeline does not work
Closed 4 years ago by cverna. Opened 5 years ago by cverna.

Ping ? Anyone able to help with this issue ?

It worked when I created it, about 8 months ago. I haven't heard a word on it since. I do not have the cycles now to work on it. I would guess something changed in the rpm pipeline as tools change and the container one didn't receive the same change to keep it running

@cverna I tried to re-run the test, then when I didn't see any updates, I checked and noticed that https://jenkins-continuous-infra.apps.ci.centos.org/job/fedcontainer-rawhide-pr-pipeline/ is simply not a pipeline any longer. If I had to guess, I assume this moved over to:

https://jenkins-continuous-infra.apps.ci.centos.org/view/Fedora%20All%20Packages%20Pipeline/job/fedora-rawhide-image-test/

I assume we can close this out, but I wanted to check with you first.

No, this fedora-rawhide-image-test job only validates the qcow2 image used to test koji builds for Rawhide.

I think Container CI is deprecated (I don't even know who was maintaining it)

Yeah, the pipeline for the container namespace was never even close to as popular as the rpms namespace (it had next to no use) and hit some weird issues the rpms namespace one wasn't hitting. I stopped maintaining it a long time ago

https://github.com/CentOS-PaaS-SIG/upstream-fedora-pipeline/pull/162 for reference

I assume we can close this out, but I wanted to check with you first.
