Looking to work on this - update it and try to get a dev environment built

Background

During the Fedora 40 release party @jflory7 mentioned this project and it seems pretty cool and tbh like a cute idea. Now that Commops seems to be gearing up and with a goal to bring in and retain contributors, this project might just help with that.

Details

So im not 100% sure how to start working on this. I figured I'd learn as I go, and try my best. I do know that some things are outdated like Redis, using docker (I prefer podman stuff) and some other things I dont know about yet.

I forked it and I'm working on understanding and getting the dev environment running any suggestions or ideas would be awesome.

Outcome

I'll have some idea if I should spend time on this or what will be needed start work on this.
