#209 Document "How Do you Fedora" Process
Opened 4 years ago by siddharthvipul1. Modified 2 years ago

I recently started helping with this magazine segment and to me, it sounds like it should be a part of commops.
I am not exactly looking for help/volunteers at this point but the purpose of this ticket is to make a process and document it so that if in future someone else wants to take it up or help, they know what and where to start.

I will get to this ticket and write a doc (draft) hopefully over the weekends
meanwhile, if you have any suggestions or improvements you wanted to see from older posts, do let me know here (or contact me anywhere, my IRC nick is mentioned in FAS)

Thanks @siddharthvipul1, I assigned this issue to you.

It would be great if @cprofitt could weigh in and share what the process has looked like for him over the last 3-5 years of writing this column. I know he has a workflow down that has helped him to manage it so well over the years. :)

I accidentally stumbled on an email from 2015 November 21 from @cprofitt with a list of questions that were used when he first launched the series:

Thanks, @jflory7. I have some of his questions as well (from my interview).
I have this on my board to work tomorrow. I will come with the process with things around it (and not exactly the question)
I also need to figure out the post-interview part where I draft a magazine post and contact editors.
My main things around documentation will be mostly
* generic info about this segment
* how you can help in the segment
* how to be featured in this segment (or how to nominate)
* process of interview
* some generic questions

I will see if I can think of something else as well :)
