#6 Docs FAD application
Closed 2 years ago by mattdm. Opened 6 years ago by asamalik.

Hello!

My name is Adam Samalik (asamalik) and I'm currently focused on the Fedora Modularity effort. I mostly do development, but I'm also slowly re-writing docs for the project (https://docs.pagure.org/modularity/).

Going on this FAD would allow me to focus solely on the documentation which would help people to better understand what is going on so they would be able to contribute. It could be also great to move the Modularity docs from the current space to Fedora Docs.

Apart from Modularity, I'm also interested in Containers. I could also help with simple visualizations or graphics (see examples on the Modularity docs mentioned above) for other things.

I'm based in Brno, Czech republic.

Also, I heared about something called Object Oriented Writing — I have no practical experience with that up to this moment, but we play with that maybe?

Hi! Looks like we will be doing this in Seville, Spain. (Feb 26 - 2 March 2018, with travel days during weekends before/after.) Does that still work for you? Also, are you able / willing to share a room to help us save on costs?

Isn't Object Oriented passé now? Shouldn't we be doing Functional Writing, or something? :)

Hi @mattdm! It still works for me, yeah. Just a little change - need to fly in from Edinburgh, UK, because I'll be there right before the FAD. I would return back to Brno, CZ. Sharing a room is fine.

Also, instead of writing actual documentation we could be just communicating high-level paperless thoughts. What do you think? :-)
