The readme should ideally be as generic as possible so we don't have to update it every release. It should also explain the workflow and branching strategy - https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/release-notes/issue/129#comment-505257
As for the wiki page, since we now have easy to edit comments in the repo, we don't need the Beats pages anymore. We do, however, need some kind of page outside this repo, either on the wiki or in docs, that explains the relnotes process to newcomers, so let's not just delete the whole wiki page.
There are a lot of packages in the wiki that seem to be outdated but not removed not only the beats page.
