Now that #30 is included, let's make a new release and push it to Fedora users. I already tagged v0.54 in git. Please update the Fedora package, build it and create an update in Fedora.
v0.54
@sumantrom said he wants to learn the process and @frantisekz told he would teach him, so let's use this opportunity to release new FEK.
Folks, although you published fedora-easy-karma-0.54-1 in Bodhi, you didn't drop the python3-fedora dependency that was the main reason for doing it in the first place :-) (sorry for not explicitly calling it out). We need a release bump with the dependency dropped.
fedora-easy-karma-0.54-1
python3-fedora
@frantisekz @sumantrom
We even now have a bugzilla report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2336385
@sumantrom I tagged v0.55 in git just now. Please make sure to drop Requires: python3-fedora and add Requires: python3-colored instead. Build it in Koji and submit to Bodhi. If you have any issues, try to ping @frantisekz , I hope he'll still be happy to help :-) Can you please make sure to make it happen next week? Thanks.
v0.55
Requires: python3-fedora
Requires: python3-colored
done :) Thanks for sending the tshirt for motivation ;) F41: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-1a4da87c32 F40 : https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-9c7a5050f5
Thanks, @sumantrom
@sumantrom Sigh! I explicitly stated the needed changes:
Please make sure to drop Requires: python3-fedora and add Requires: python3-colored instead.
Where do you see it in your commit? https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/fedora-easy-karma/c/a875b91fcdda37f323b57739010053fe9304cd0d?branch=rawhide
Fortunately, not only Björn promptly filed a bug, but also fixed it himself: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2343397 https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/fedora-easy-karma/c/f256e346f2aa660fed67a740f8c74d0b400587f0?branch=rawhide
So, Björn gets a :cookie: and Sumantro gets to walk the plank...
