The Koji hub and builders in Fedora run Fedora now. Very long ago, the hubs ran EL7 which required us to stay compatible with Python 2.x for the Koji hub plugin and any code it used. This will go away (see #123) anyway, but we should move all the code that needed to retain Python 2.x compat (in the py2compat subpackage) out of it, and bring forward any too glaring Py2-isms.
