On Fedora 40 (Rawhide), using fedpkg mockbuild or fedpkg build causes this error to pop:

(Note: This is on the Lutris distgit)

❯ fedpkg mockbuild
Not downloading already downloaded v0.5.15.tar.gz
Could not execute mockbuild: calculate_release_number() missing 1 required keyword-only argument: 'error_on_unparseable_spec'

Downgrading to the currently stable f39 version (0.3.8) fixes it

I’ll close this issue as the project has been moved to https://github.com/fedora-infra/rpmautospec some time ago. If this is still relevant, please open a ticket there.
