@kevin you have closed most of the spam-related issues. Is there an SOP on this? If not can we jump to a meeting and write one?

General things are: 1. Get a link to the trouble emails. 2. Look at the email on mailman and make a quick 'judgement' call on if it is SPAM. a. is it selling a service, program or material b. is it a major criminal activity (pedophilia, illicit drugs) or con job (send me your bank account) c. similar items to a & b. 3. If step 2 is strongly true then log into the mailman interface and delete the thread. Then log into mailman server and remove the email address from all lists. ``` $ sudo -i ssh root@mailman01.iad2.fedoraproject.org
``` 4. If step 2 is questionable then pass the email to FPL or similar to get a decision from them. 5. If step 2 looks to be very false, ask the reporter why they think it is spam to make sure you understand why. Usually it may be a 'oh well I misunderstood myself.' or a 'so in our culture which this person is in this is a ..'. Either close or send the thread to the FPL/council for better understanding. 6. Close out the ticket.
Yep. What smooge said.
I went ahead and unsubscribed them. They don't have an account with that email.
