Hi,
we would like to manage our DNS records for the testing-farm.io domain via Terraform. Seems the best approach would be to use AWS Route53 for that. Would it be possible to manage our service domain name there? We are the main testing backend of Fedora CI and CentOS Stream CI.

@mvadkert Where is the domain currently registered? We would need to transfer it to Route53 first or at least do a DNS delegation to Route53.
Once that is set up I could give access to that Hosted Zone(AWS speak for DNS zone) and you would be able to change records at will using Terraform.

@mobrien it is on namecheap. Hmm that is a bit PITA then, we already use the domain for a couple of apps.
Maybe we could do it on your late Friday then, so we can properly announce an outage?

An alternative to this which could make life easier for you is to delegate a subdomain. For example aws.testing-farm.io
This would mean you could leave everything you have currently in namecheap and just add a new NS record for aws.testing-farm.io Then on the aws side you could just assign <xyz>.aws.testing-farm.io going forward.
