Take this Rawhide update as an example: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-18cf77c6ca
It's really easy to get lost in the maze of links that one needs to go through to get to the actual failure from the gating tests. I wish I could get to the logs a lot more easily.
Secondly, it doesn't look like the waive test results button actually does anything. Does it?
Well, the CI setup is run by Fedora ci and we don't run or manage it, so not sure there's much we can do.
The waive button is in bodhi and it should do something... if not thats a bodhi bug.
@kevin The bodhi issue will be taken care by @asaleh, he volunteered to create a bodhi issue out of this one and close this ticket
@rishi could you please provide a bit more information about the logs? Which ones were hard to find or digest in this case? Thanks!
Btw. the better place where to file CI-related problems is https://pagure.io/fedora-ci/general/
Can you refile the logs part in fedora-ci? and we will work the bodhi stuff upstream too.
Thanks!
Metadata Update from @kevin: - Issue close_status updated to: Upstream - Issue status updated to: Closed (was: Open)
Ok, thanks. I will file an issue against fedora-ci about the discoverability of the logs.
fedora-ci
Did @asaleh already create a Bodhi issue? Or should I create one?
It seems that @vondruch and @adamwill already covered a lot of ground in https://pagure.io/fedora-ci/general/issue/311 so I will use that for the CI part.
Filed a ticket against Bodhi for the waive test results button.
