#10490 http://fedoraplanet.org/ is not served via HTTPS
Closed: Will Not/Can Not fix 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by siosm.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Have http://fedoraplanet.org/ served via HTTPS and HTTP redirected to HTTPS.

When do you need this to be done by?

No timeline.

In the past this was done by design. Various blogs were http only, and people would get errors on reading. Since the number of active blogs on planet is very small, it may be a good idea to revisit it so that it is required that blogs are https.

Yes, many blogs on the planet are http, so if we serve it as https, broweser complain. If we serve it as http, browsers complain.

But as smooge notes, perhaps it's time to revisit it.

Might be something worth doing when we migrate away from the current software
(which is py2 only). In the mean time I'm not sure the pain is worth the gain.

Lets just close this and keep it in mind for any replacement.
