Be aware of and potentially investigate and help fix a 500 Server Error when using a FAS ID to log into GitLab.
Not urgent but may prevent us doing our role in the Websites and Apps team.
Several people (at least myself @thunderbirdtr and @glb) working in the Websites and Apps team have experienced issues logging into GitLab via https://gitlab.com/fedora which results in a similar error to that found in #9175
The error message is:
500 - Internal Server Error The Fedora Accounts Ipsilon encountered an unexpected internal error while trying to fulfill your request. Please retry again. If the error persists, contact Fedora Infra to resolve the problem.
500 - Internal Server Error
The Fedora Accounts Ipsilon encountered an unexpected internal error while trying to fulfill your request.
Please retry again.
If the error persists, contact Fedora Infra to resolve the problem.
Sometimes when the error occurs a page refresh on the error screen (hit F5 when the error is encountered) will fix the problem and result in the correct login flow being followed.

Can you see if the problem is still happening? I fixed something that might have caused this this morning...
Thanks, Kevin. It's looking OK for me this morning. Tested by opening a new private browsing session, heading to https://gitlab.com/fedora and clicking the single sign-in button, following through with the FAS SSO and then 2FA to get logged in.
Still working so I'm going to close this one out - many thanks!
