Fedora 34 and 35 cannot be upgraded to F36 in using Software, because Software does not offer the upgrade to F36. Fedora 34 only offers Fedora 35. Fedora 35 offers nothing.
Both systems have been pre-set to be able to see the prerelease upgrade
gsettings set org.gnome.software show-upgrade-prerelease true
There are no errors reported anywhere in the system, so it looks like the system things there is no F36 upgrade available. Could you check that everything works normally on the meta-data side? We need to know why this is happening and throw in a blocker if necessary.
As this problem would block the Beta Release, we need it as soon as possible.
Thank you very much.
Freeze break request that I think will fix this: https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/998

@kevin , thank you very much for your work. Everything seems to be ok on Fedora 35 which is offered the F36 upgrade and seems to upgrade fine. However, on F34, the F36 remains invisible and only F35 is offered.

@lruzicka Can you send us the logs from gnome-software --verbose?
gnome-software --verbose
Hello @mohanboddu , the command does not return anything. But magically, my VM offers the F36 upgrade now, so it probably only needed some time to wait. You can close the issue now, I think. Thanks a lot for your help to you and @kevin.
Thanks.
