#10629 Red Hat dropping Fedora mail?
Closed: Fixed by kevin. Opened by mattdm.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Jered Floyd (@jered) is trying to reactivate his Fedora account. He can't seem to get enauk address change confirmation messages or password confirmations to his @ redhat.com address. I went ahead and manually poked the redhat.com address into the backend, but he still doesn't get anything when asking for a password reset email. Nothing flagged as spam or anything. Are these getting dropped?

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Assuming it affects more folks than Jered, it is very urgent. If it affects just Jered, still as soon as possible please. Thank you!

I signed up for devel and haven't seen any traffic there;I have no evidence of receiving any fedoraproject.org email to jered@redhat.com. I don't have anything in my GMail Junk folder, nor do I have any filter rules for fedoraproject.org.

--Jered

I'm getting intermittent 500 errors from lists.fedoraproject.org, so possibly related. I also am not able to get pagure.io emails. shrug

Yep. It's just dropping our connections. ;(

Trying to find out who to talk to to get it sorted. :(

There's currently 17042 emails waiting for redhat.com addresses.

@kevin is there a ServiceNow ticket I can attach to?

I created INC2167498 and added you.

I just made INC2167513 about it.
:)

Some mail is flowing now; I just got this response and a message from several hours ago!

Yeah, it's processing, but slowly...

It's down to just a few thousand, so it should fully catch up in a bit.
