Uploading files to the lookaside cache with fedpkg new-sources now takes 50+ seconds, which is much slower than it was just a week or two ago. There have not been any recent updates to fedpkg and friends, so I believe it's an infra issue. Other users on #fedora-devel reported similar problems.

Can you see where the time is concentrated?
Is it before it does anything, while it's uploading, or after it's uploaded, but before it exits?
I've experienced this issue as well. I can't see any recent updates to the local code that's responsible for "fedpkg new-sources" (rpkg, fedpkg, pycurl). It seems to be stuck for ~1 minute both before starting the actual upload and after the actual upload hits 100%.
This was caused by a selinux denial. ;(
I've added it to be allowed to the policy and now (at least in all my testing) it's back to normal.
Thanks for the report and let us know if you see anything further.
