The fedora-socialmedia group in FAS needs a new name and contact address:
fedora-socialmedia
fedora-socialmedia-members
fedoraproject
org
End of the week (Friday, 16 Dec) would be nice. But it is not an urgent request. It came up in a recent discussion that the existence of this group was hard to find, so this is a step to make the social media team more visible and defined.
I don't think we can use spaces in group names...
Or do you mean the current "Fedora Social Media" displayname? Thats easy to change and I have done so. :)
The contact email should already go to that alias. :)
So, if it's just that, this should be done. I'll let you confirm/close or clarify. ;)

@jflory7 any thoughts on above?
@kevin Yes, I meant the display name and that is what I wanted there! Thank you! :raised_hands:
However, there seems to be some special field in the new account system for showing a group contact alias in the group profile. I see that in other groups but I don't see that in the fedora-socialmedia group. Screenshots below for comparison:
Yeah, we can set those. What do you want them set to?
The contact email can be the address given in the first ticket comment, fedora-socialmedia-members [at] fedoraproject [dot] org. For the IRC/Matrix room, I guess we could use #marketing:fedoraproject.org or #fedora-marketing:libera.chat, preferring Matrix over IRC if the field supports that.
[at]
[dot]
#marketing:fedoraproject.org
#fedora-marketing:libera.chat

Updated as requested. The field is called "IRC network and channel", so I put #fedora-marketing:libera.chat

@nb Thanks, the email address looks good! But one minor thing, I guess the :libera.chat suffix wasn't needed because the field appends @irc.libera.chat to the IRC channel. Could you drop that one piece from the IRC channel name? Then the link will work as expected for someone using the irc:// URI.
:libera.chat
@irc.libera.chat
irc://
Sorry that this is being such a tedious request! I appreciate the help.
