Hello,
I have run into a problem with a slow mirror. After the installation of Fedora 37, I did an inital update using dnf and it picked the fedora.is mirror to download from. Unfortunately, this mirror was quite slow with speeds in the 125-250 KB/s range.
So I had to wait 4 hours before the update was finished.
Note that I did have fastestmirror enabled but that was not helping here.
Could you please take a look?
Edit: experienced this using a French IP.
the dnf fastestmirror setting may in fact have caused this. It detects "fastest" in a pretty simple way.
Can you disable that setting and see if you get a faster/better mirror?

I did reinstall Fedora and tried dnf update without the fastestmirror option, still similar results.
But since I can't exactly pinpoint whether this is actually related to Fedora mirrors or just my internet/VPN, I will close this for now.
