First reported by @spmadden in chat, we're seeing a variety of authentication issues.

  • pagure.io login fails with "strange state: failure" message
  • src.fedoraproject.org login works, but logout gives a success message but does not appear to actually log the user out

The cause seems to have been that ipsilon01 was down/unresponsive.

From the logs it looks like httpd core dumped and then it was unable to query anything and then it finally stopped responding.
Sadly, none of the coredumps seem to still be there.

Around the same time ipsilon02 started getting dns issues. There was a incorrect config there that I have fixed.

After f38 release we should reinstall these with f38. If this happens there we would be in a better shape to debug...

Anyhow, hopefully things are back on track now. If 01 goes down again 02 should take over correctly now. Although after freeze we might test this to confirm it.
