#11278 COPR login issue?
Closed: Fixed by kevin. Opened by lrossett.

I am trying to login to copr (https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/) but it shows an error page with the following message:

Error 405: Unknown error
The method is not allowed for the requested URL.

I tried to login in https://accounts.fedoraproject.org, it worked but I still see the above message in copr.

@msuchy Could you look into that?

This showed up in IRC earlier this morning and is probably something to do with OpenID

2023-05-03 05:42:05 principis Hi! I'm unable to login on copr: Error 405: Unknown error: The method is not allowed for the requested URL.
2023-05-03 06:12:44 praiskup principis, I can log-in (web-UI)
2023-05-03 06:12:50 praiskup how do you try to log-in?
2023-05-03 06:14:47 principis praiskup: the problem occurs with with the web-ui with 2 different browsers :/
2023-05-03 06:15:10 praiskup principis, are you logging in using OpenID?
2023-05-03 06:15:25 principis I think so? Just my fedora login
2023-05-03 06:15:48 praiskup OK, I can confirm ... kerberos works
2023-05-03 06:16:10 praiskup but OpenID doesn't ... if possible, try to use `fkinit` and log-in using kerberos for now
2023-05-03 06:16:34 praiskup Ah, I can see there already is: https://github.com/fedora-copr/copr/issues/2696
2023-05-03 06:17:01 principis fkinit did work! :) I can't test right now. I did what I had to do using the copr CLI, which worked fine
2023-05-03 06:17:05 principis Ok thanks! :)
2023-05-03 06:19:41 praiskup ok, thank you for the report!

My guess would be that something updated or changed in the OpenID handler

I updated ipsilon machines to fedora 38.

Everything seemed to be working ok, but perhaps there's something related.

Perhaps @abompard has ideas here?

ok. I think this should be fixed now.

Can everyone confirm?

I'm able to login now

Ok, lets close out. re-open or file a new issue if you still see anything.
