#11295 archive old logs on log01
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by kevin.

log01 is getting close to full on it's disk and has been alerting:

PROBLEM - log01.iad2.fedoraproject.org/Disk space /var/log is WARNING: DISK WARNING - free space: / 200939 MiB (12.90% inode=99%): (noc01)

So, we should archive off old logs to free up space.

I am going to move all the 2022 logs to backup01's backup volume.

Copied everything off to backup01 and then:

[root@log01 hosts][PROD-IAD2]# df -h /; rm -rf /var/log/hosts/*/2022; df -h /
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/GuestVolGroup00-root 1.5T 1.4T 163G 90% /
