#11517 Inactive Provenpackagers policy for the F39 cycle
Closed: Fixed with Explanation a year ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by mattia.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Per the Provenpackager policy, we have not received any response from these users after two weeks, therefore they should be removed from the provenpackager group:

The two weeks period formally ends on 2023-09-14 08.00 UTC, so tagging them here is the final attempt to have a reply from them.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

No earlier than 2023-09-14 08.00 UTC, after that at your convenience.

Please don't deactivate me from provenpackagers. I had actually attempted to build something last week and failed due to unrelated LLVM update, and I expect to be doing more drive-by packaging work in the mid-term future.

Please don't remove me either.

Please don't remove me. I was pinged privately on this. Something in the notifications is broken because I can not find any record of a notification. I received email on my fedoraproject alias yesterday so it is working.

I have sent the notification on the devel-announce list on 31/8 and ccn the fedoraproject.org aliases directly. Maybe my mail got unnoticed or went in spam folder?

Anyway, I'm glad I finally reached you, that was the purpose of creating this ticket in advance and tagging usernames.
Se, the final list went down to just
- pjones
- jwilson

Maybe we can wait for a couple of days more and see if they reply here (or if someone can get in touch with them).

It's worth noting that there is an ongoing issue with external emails -> fedoraproject.org aliases. :(

This may be deferring those notifications... so we should probibly wait until thats solved at least.

Let me know when the outage is over and I'll ping again the remaining users.

Outage is all over. So, how about pinging them today again one last time, then we can process this friday?

I've just sent an email directly to @pjones and @jwilson fedoraproject.org aliases.
I'll let you know if any reply comes in.

It's been a week? shall we go ahead and remove em?

I haven't received any reply, so +1 for me
