Closed: Fixed with Explanation 7 months ago by zlopez. Opened 8 months ago by mvkil.

Actions:

  1. Browsed to the list, using the web form at: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/389-users.lists.fedoraproject.org/
  2. Under "Subscribe to this list", I chose all the data:
Your email address: [used my default address, used to register at fedoraproject.org]
    Your name (optional) [blank]
    Delivery mode: [chose Regular]
    Delivery status: [chose Enabled]

Expected

  1. subscription
  2. welcome message

What actually happens

top screen red notification: 'type' (see the screenshot)

Extra steps:

  1. contacted the list manager
  2. the manager did not manage to add me as well, claimed for some "infra" issue, hence I am here.

Describe what you would like us to do:

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

ASAP

I have a problem with deleting held messages from perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org queue. The web interface display 4 message, I select any/all of them and press Discard button and the result is no change with "Message could not be found" error bar.

Did something go wrong with a database for the list server?

@ppisar , maybe retry your action as well.

I still get the error.

This is probably caused by me. I'm trying to investigate https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/12011 and adding some debug messages to mailman, unfortunately this is causing the issues you see. I'm working on solving that right now.
Sorry for this inconvenience.

Could you try that again, I will check for any error on mailman side.

No worries, I appreciate what you all do! Anyway I just retried (and got the same error). Let me know when you need me to try again...

I was able to fix the issue and discard the pending subscription. It should be now possible to accept the new user, but @mvkil needs to subscribe again.

Let me know if everything works.

Great. I confirm that managing the moderation queue works again.
