#12169 The CentOS Stream s390x "extra" vs "extras" mirroring problem
Closed: Fixed 6 months ago by praiskup. Opened 6 months ago by praiskup.

Now I finally realized that the mirror manager responds on different URLs for
s390x and for the other architectures:

+ https://mirrors.centos.org/metalink?repo=centos-extras-sig-extras-common-10-stream&arch=x86_64&protocol=https,http

Note the difference in s/extra/extras. This should be synchronized, or just
please conifrm this is the status quo is expected.

We try to fix the default Mock configuration for s390x problem, also reported to CS.

@abompard Do you think that is correct?

just fwiw, s390x isn't built at all for SIG, due to lack of available s390 infra for CentOS builders
So that one was created "manually" as a "one shot" operation but indeed with a typo, so it was then renamed (empty directory with just repodata for zero package) to extras-common and so should be soon consistent at the Fedora mirrormanager side

So, we need to drop the 's' here in the mirrormanager database?

Let us use the variant with s everywhere (including s390x), because such a change will be much less intrusive.

Mirrormanager seems to respond on the extras variant now, thank you!
