#12202 Retirement of `monitor-gating` tracker
Closed: Fixed a month ago by zlopez. Opened 6 months ago by patrikp.

As per the discussion in this ticket [1] it was agreed that the best way forward in regards to monitor-gating would be to retire it.

Steps to follow:
• Remove all mentions of monitor-gating from the Ansible repo. [2]
• Delete the project in OpenShift.
• Retire the dummy packages it was using. [3][4][5]

Thanks for taking this on @patrikp

While going through the Ansible repo I came across mentions of a project named monitor-dashboard. Since it processes monitor-gating data it will have to go as well.

More information about the project and the retirement:

Yeah, very similar name. ;(

Can you make a PR to remove this from ansible? I could then merge that and delete the project, then you could retire the package?

Let's get this updated with gain and trouble so we can gauge the work!

monitor-dashboard will be removed as part of the fedmsg retirement work as it is too tied to fedmsg.

This should be all done now, right?

Feel free to re-open if there's still something to do here.

Hello.

As for the packages, I followed this SOP [1] and went through the retirement process.

Now everything is done. Closing the ticket.
