Hi folks,
in our bot we receives messages over Fedora Messaging v2 with topic 'https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/v2/search?topic=org.fedoraproject.prod.github.push'
But since today, I guess, no messages are present.
Do you know, whether there is some outage?
Thanks
I can see that the service is running on https://apps.fedoraproject.org/github2fedmsg and I don't see any error in logs of the machine. And I can still see some traffic in access logs, so that should be OK as well.
It's possible that there just wasn't any push happening on the repositories it is watching.
We are currently trying to replace github2fedmsg with more general solution, hopefully that will happen soon.
Do you have any docu, how I can receive info from GitHub Push messages? Like when an PR is merge to 'master/main'?
https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/v2/search?topic=org.fedoraproject.prod.github.push But datagrepper does not contain any messages.
The github2fedmsg is just forwarding any event to fedmsg bus without knowing what is inside, so we don't have any documentation for that.
But I found one message that happened few days ago.
Well, that makes sense. Since today, I do not receive any message for some unknown reason from my point of view.

@t0xic0der @abompard Could you help with onboarding to webhook2fedmsg? As it looks like a better option than fixing whatever is wrong with github2fedmsg.
Anyway I restarted github2fedmsg service, to see if that helps.
The last week, I was able to see messages here https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/v2/search?topic=org.fedoraproject.prod.github.push, but today not. The datagrepper is empty.

I got this in the logs:
2024-10-01 00:02:55 [fedmsg.crypto.x509_ng ERROR] CRL has expired
It's probably what's causing the messages not to be relayed to AMQP. I'll renew the CRL.
Cool thank you. As soon as it will be re-deploy, just let me know.
OK it should be working now @phracek
YES. It really works. Thank you.

Cool! That said, if you've recently added a project to github2fedmsg, I'd like to help you migrate to its replacement: webhook-to-fedora-messaging (a more generic webhook bridge).
