#12348 Deploy two RHEL9 VMs for CentOS (staging area)
Closed: Fixed 2 months ago by zlopez. Opened 2 months ago by arrfab.

We already had two rhel8 VMs deployed in the past in IAD2 (staging vlan) for centos, that were enrolled in IPA (stg).
For task https://pagure.io/centos-infra/issue/1099 , we'd like to request two RHEL9 VMs that will be used to test our staging deployment of ipsilon/ipa-client roles.
The VMs don't need to be monitored by Fedora infra (nagios) as we'll have zabbix doing that for us.
I can even just reinstall (what I'll do) these two VMs as soon as they'll be available.

Once fully configured at our (centos) side, I'll return the previous VMs so that you'll get back some storage/cpu/memory resources.

TIA

just to make it clear : we just need fresh RHEL 9 VMs, nothing configured at all (not even being enrolled in ipa, as that will be covered by our automation)

The machines are available, both are hosted on vmhost-x86-11 and their hostnames are:
- centos-ipa-client03.stg.iad2.fedoraproject.org
- centos-ipa-client04.stg.iad2.fedoraproject.org

The only way to access them right now is through the vmhost-x86-11 as there is no user to ssh with.
Do you want me to create one for you or will you want to access them directly from vmhost?

As @arrfab has now access to those machines I will close the ticket.
