I believe the flatpak-indexer may have stalled, preventing all flatpak updates from being presented to users. Please check the status of this service, and if indeed stalled and the logs do not indicate an actionable fix that is first needed, please restart it. (Without any visibility into it, my first guess would be that it was affected by last week's planned outages.)
ASAP
Yeah, that was exactly the case. It had errors talking to fedora-messaging cluster and was stuck.
I rolled out new pods and:
2025-02-02 16:31:08,846:INFO:flatpak_indexer.delta_generator:Pending Tasks: 804 In Progress Tasks: 0 2025-02-02 16:32:08,909:INFO:flatpak_indexer.delta_generator:Pending Tasks: 803 In Progress Tasks: 1 ...
Let me know if you see them showing up...
Thanks, I don't have access to the instance to see anything, but I'll try updating again soon and see if my updates show up.
Would you like access to it? :)
Yes, I probably should.
ok. added you as an app owner. You should be able to login to the web console at https://console-openshift-console.apps.ocp.fedoraproject.org/ and see the flatpak-indexer project.
app owners can do things like see logs, scale things and redeploy. Actual config changes must be done via infra ansible repo/deployment.
Thanks, I have access now, and can see it running. I'll leave this open until it completes and I can pull the updates.
Indexer has successfully completed and updates can now be pulled by users.
