Describe what you would like us to do:

I request the fedora team to make a compatibility package of the legacy branch of the intel-compute-runtime for older hardware. The hardware cutoff has removed support for a huge amount of hardware. I request the fedora team to atleast have a legacy compatibility version for the sake of the people who still have the older hardware.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Hi. This isn't really the place for this sort of request. We are the people who run the machines/setup that builds tests and distributes fedora, but we don't directly maintain the content.

In this particular case there isn't any way to 'request' a package from a specific group.

Your options are:

  • Try and convince someone else to package and maintain it. You could try the devel mailing list ( devel@lists.fedoraproject.org ) and/or the discussion forum in the 'project' area.

  • Package it yourself and maintain it. See https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Joining_the_Package_Maintainers/ for more information there.

Good luck and hope that helps out...
