#12840 Application is not available: languages.fedoraproject.org
Closed: Fixed with Explanation by kevin. Opened by jibecfed.

Hi team,

users reached me to inform the language website is down
I can't find anything useful in OpenShift showing a bug or issue (but I'm not familiar with it) could you please give a look?

  • It is deployed in https://languages.fedoraproject.org and https://languages.stg.fedoraproject.org
  • Infrastructure is hosted by https://console-openshift-console.apps.ocp.fedoraproject.org/ and https://console-openshift-console.apps.ocp.stg.fedoraproject.org
  • Infrastructure code is in https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/blob/main/f/roles/openshift-apps/languages
  • source code is there: https://pagure.io/fedora-l10n/fedora-localization-statistics

thanks for your help!

It seems it was never redeployed since our datacenter move. ;(

I'm working on bringing it back now...

ok, it's up and running.

The data is old, but I think it should update via a cron at some point here?

the current automation doesn't work so well
the way all the content is processed is evolving
there is no need to request to fix the existing pipeline and ask you a few month after to rewrite it
as long as existing content remains published, it is good enough for now, this content is useful every once in a while for small language communities looking for language corpus
