#12941 Add new primary mirror IP for mirrors.kernel.org
Closed: Fixed with Explanation by kevin. Opened by icon.

Hello:

We are in the process of migrating our primary mirrors.kernel.org node from Equinix to the new location. I believe it is required that we add the IP address of our new primary replica to your allow list so quick-fedora-mirror succeeds. If that is not the case, please correct me.

For the migration period, both IPs need to be allowed:

sv.mirrors.kernel.org (existing primary):
    139.178.88.99
    2604:1380:45e3:2400::1
dfw.mirrors.kernel.org (new primary):
    142.0.200.124
    2605:f480:58:1::1994:3:14

We can just allow the names and then you can adjust them as needed in dns?

Kevin: not sure what that implies. Do you mean RDNS?

well, I mean just add the dns names in our config, so we will look them up on connections... so you can change them without us having to.

I've done that now, let me know if it's not working or you need ip's in there for some reason.

Sorry for the delay here and thanks for mirroring!
