I'm working on search for the fedora docs site and I need an Elasticsearch instance in order to build a public (not just local) prototype. Using the Fedora Infra AWS resources seems like a good way forward.
Because I don't want to overwhelm anyone, I'm happy with getting a certain level of access so I can spin up instances and manage my instances for this matter. Definitely not asking for wide permissions, having a group with limited access would work the best I think.
We talked about that shortly with @kevin, here's the ticket. :-)
Ideally this week, so that would be by 2019/04/05.
I think I would need to look for alternative solutions in about two weeks time, so let's say 2019/04/19.
I'd need to look for an alternative solution to enabling Fedora Docs search.
I am working on some aws setup for this and other requests. Hopefully I can have it in place in the next few days.
Likely for this I will make a aws-docs group that has the perms you need, but also autotags your instances so only you can terminate/deal with them.

That sounds great, thanks @kevin!
So, I ran into some snags with our tagging and setup, and @puiterwijk happily showed up and helped me out.
He is still working at it, but we do not have it ready yet. ;(
Would it be ok for him to work with you early next week to get your access setup?
Sorry for the delay.
And... while I was updating here, @puiterwijk talked to you out of band and got you access.
