#8247 [jenkins] Please update libmodulemd on F29 slave
Closed: Fixed 5 years ago by lsedlar. Opened 5 years ago by lsedlar.

Please update installed libmodulemd on the F29 slave.

Ideally both libmodulemd and libmodulemd1 should be installed. That should enable applications using both v1 and v2 API to work.

@sgallagh and @mprahl in ticket #8217 you switched mbs to libmodulemd2. Should we ask other users to do that too? or libmodulemd/libmodulemd1 is fine for older branches?

@kevin libmodulemd1 is abandoned except for critical bugs. All new feature development and active maintenance is happening on the 2.x release.

This is currently blocking new ODCS release, because we need to switch to libmodulemd2, but in the same time we don't want to break our jenkins tests.

Should be updated now.

I'm still getting errors due to libmodulemd 2 not being available:

You asked for an update for the F29 agent. That job was running on the F26 slave.

I would suggest targeting the F29 slave directly in your job.

@bstinson You're absolutely right. I didn't notice.
