maybe there could be a little bit more spacing between neighbouring archs

eg. between:
aarch64 armhfp
or
s390x x86_64

Yes, I agree. But as that is not really an important interface (and also not correctly working) nobody came up with a fix. Would also need to be tracked upstream.
