#68 Add how to use Clevis/Tang with Fedora IoT
Closed by pbrobinson. Opened by rugk.

Referring some discussion regarding Fedora CoreOS on Raspberry Pi and how useful Fedora IoT even is, when we have Fedora CoreOS, I miss one big topic:

How to use Clevis and Tang for automatic encryption/decryption.

The thing is your project website clearly states this as a big feature:

Security is important for IoT devices especially since they likely don’t have the security of a data center. With support for TPM2, SecureBoot, and automated storage decryption with Clevis, Fedora IoT is built with a focus on security.

(highlighting by myself)

As such, IMHO, it should also be documented.

I thin it should just reference existing clevis docs rather than duplicating the docs. The usage is no different in IoT vs other use cases really. Docs are now at https://github.com/fedora-iot/iot-docs
