#139 Ask docs if information related to RPMFusion can be mentioned on docs.fp.o
Closed: Fixed by ankursinha. Opened by ankursinha.

Can information about RPMFusion etc. be put up on docs.fp.o? We need to file a ticket with docs to confirm. Any takers?

This is the reply:

Yes, but these documents need the standard third-party disclaimer. Put this at the top of the doc:

include::{partialsdir}/3rdparty-message.adoc[]

That adds a box like this: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/installing-chromium-or-google-chrome-browsers/

And in addition:

If you have a specific example, please refer to legal@fedoraproject.org. for review.

How is this for an example? https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/9111/sticky-what-plugins-do-i-need-to-install-to-watch-movies-and-listen-to-music/

We can ask to legal, but as far as I can see, in quick docs you can find how to install Spotify, how to install NVIDIA proprietary drivers, there are instructions on how to install VLC (from rpmfusion), how to install Adobe Flash, etc.

Ah, then we should be fine. Closing this then. :) Thanks for looking into it @alciregi :100:
